Info

Miles Silvagni (Miami Beach, USA, 1998), is a Dutch-American photographer whose work focuses on landscape, humanity, and the factors that connect them. Working through documentary- and art photography, Silvagni develops long-term photo projects to tell stories and evoke questions about purpose and contemporary (sub)culture.

Born in Florida, but raised all over the United States and the Netherlands, his experiences of migration inform his sensitivity to place and human relationships. By drawing inspiration from his environments and from moments of transition, Silvagni adopts an observational approach to his work.

In his artistic practice, Silvagni creates both independently and collaboratively. Based in Haarlem, the Netherlands, Silvagni is a member of Nieuwe Vide Artspace and serves as program director for Fotogroep Haarlem.

Miles Silvagni is also open to commission based work and collaborations in the Netherlands and beyond.
